Carol Ussier joined StreetNet International in 2024 as a consultant, working as Project Officer – which includes Monitoring, Learning and Evaluation (MLE) – and as Coordinator of the Youth Project. A certified PMD-Pro (Project Management for Development) professional, she has extensive experience facilitating multi-stakeholder initiatives with street vendors and waste pickers, in collaboration with partners such as WIEGO, World Vision and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). She also holds a diploma in Dance Movement Therapy and Social Justice from TISS (India), reflecting her interest in integrating creative approaches into rights-based and community-led work.
When she’s not coordinating projects, Carol is first and foremost the mother of Karim. Passionate about the intersection of social justice, community care and creative arts, she enjoys turning ideas into meaningful actions and building connections across people and communities.
