The National Confederation of Trade Unions of Guinea (Confédération Nationale des Travailleurs de Guinée – CNTG) was founded in June 1960.

The sectors in which CNTG works include: Textiles, Buildings, Commercial Street Vendors, Waste Pickers, Domestic Workers, Agricultural Workers, Hairdressers, Motorbike and Taxi Drivers, and Fish Wholesalers, among others.  The governance structure of CNTG includes an Executive Secretariat, confederation offices, professional branches of the federation, regional unions of workers, local unions of workers, and union member sections.
