LIE (Labour at Informal Economy)

Labour at Informal Economy (LIE) is a membership based organisation for workers at the informal sector stands for empowering, supporting, protecting, sustaining, and promoting the common interests of vulnerable informal sector workers.

LIE is registered under the Society Registration Act. 1860 and associated with the Bangladesh Free Trade Union Congress (BFTUC). LIE represent 6,500 informal sector workers at Home Based Work, Street Vending, Waste Picking, Domestic Work and daily wage based labour at Agriculture sector.
