In 2024, we stood strong as a global alliance of informal economy workers, growing to 881,400 members across 61 affiliates in 55 countries. Despite the challenges of authoritarianism, economic instability, and the climate crisis, we made significant progress. We launched a new strategic plan, built youth leadership, strengthened our campaigns for social protection and gender equity, and achieved key advocacy wins. From resisting evictions to advancing legal recognition, our members—especially women and youth—led bold actions to improve lives and livelihoods. We remain guided by our core principle: Nothing for Us Without Us.
