In an unfortunate coincidence, on the International Vendors Day 2012, the administrators of the Condominium Building where FUTRAND operated threw all our belongings to the street.

Almost a year ago it was very sad to face reality of our belongings on the street, without headquarters, equipment and documents. Today we can say that with pride and courage we could get up, thanks to the efforts of our Leaders, affiliates and STREETNET in the person of its President, OSCAR SILVA, we have grown in spite of the adversity. We are doing ant´s work to return to business as usual for the members and comrades, who plead for FUTRAND to continue defending their labor rights. We are preparing for democratic elections, and we have already made motivational visits to our affiliates in the States: Tachira, Lara, Barinas, Portuguesa and Aragua to invite them with love, joy and sense of belonging to participate in the election of the new Executive Committee of FUTRAND. Once legitimised and legalised, we will begin to work as usual, to confront the problems that arise every day, looking for solutions, because it is our right to exist as a conglomerated organisation of workers, whose work stability is very vulnerable, hence our struggle for vindication of fundamental human rights for all workers.

We wish to express our gratitude to President of StreetNet, OSCAR SILVA, we will never forget your precious help, with incalculable gratitude that has left your gesture of humanity and generosity to our organisation.

We’re rising from the ashes.

BRAVE IS NOT THAT NEVER FALLS,
BUT STILL STANDING UP AND FORWARD
SUCH AS FUTRAND, BRAVE!
